Bet Weinstein's students spent the Parashat Mishpatim Shabbat at the Bet Yehuda Guest House in Jerusalem. The wonderful Shabbat was enables with the kind donation on Emunah UK and of Mrs. Newman descendants.
This Shabbat was carefully planned months before. The school's staff, guided by the school's Rabbi, haRav Aharon Lapidot, spent many hours discussing the various aspects of Shabbat and its commandments. The students took an active part and prepared themselves for the very special days they were about to have.
On Friday noon all the participants gathered at school and made their way in two buses to Jerusalem. On Shabbat evening all the students attended the synagogue, followed by a Dvar Torah. After the dinner several workshop took place involving issues important to the girls, that chose to stay up late to learn and educated.
Principal Hana Rechtman expressed her hope that this Shabbat will accompany them in their hearts and minds throughout the years. The excited students expressed their appreciation to all of those that took an active part in preparing this wonderful occasion. Some of them also stated that they were unable to be Shabbat observance in their own homes, and this Shabbat enabled them to do so.
