Emunah's 2010 budget approved unanimously

Emunah's 2010 budget was unanimously approved in a special board meeting. When approving the budget of 306 million ILS Emunah's CEO, David Hadari, expressed his appreciation to all workers and countless volunteers that contribute and preserve the balanced budget, thanks to good cooperation between the management and devoted employees, volunteers and all of the citizens that enjoy Emunah's services: women and men, youth and children, newcomers and veterans, residents of the cities and of the settlements.

In the review presented to the board members Mr. Hadari stressed that the significant growth of the movement is highly noticeable, especially in the last few years, and it can be seen in the budgets' scopes throughout the years - since 2005, with a total budget of 197 million ILS, along the considerable growth in the following years' budgets as well as in the current one. Hadari said the financial strength of Emunah is noted in the fact that it managed to significantly reduce its deficits. He also added that they intend to continue paying the debts until they will be fully paid and settled.

A major part of the budget is based on the daycare activities at the amount of approximately 160 million ILS and operating Emunah's various institutions with the amount of 99 million ILS. Other departments in the organization that had a prime share of the budget are the Irgun Department, responsible for all branches, Torah Centers and English Speaking chapters' activities with the amount of approximately 5 million ILS and the Family Department that is managing Emunah's Family Counseling Centers (Meitav) with the amount of approximately 3 million ILS.

Emunah, the largest movement among the national-religious public, has 135 daycare centers across the country that take care of over 8,200 Children, 10 schools and Children's Centers with approximately 2,556 students, 26 branches, 19 Torah Centers and 13 Family Counseling Centers. All of the above is operated by 2,587 employees and numerous volunteers. Emunah is also taking a significant part in running the Bat Ami National Service with 2,470 volunteers.

Emunah's Chairperson, Liora minka, stressed at the meeting the fiscal efficiency of the movement, proven in the fact that the Central Administration budget is approximately 6 million ILS, which are only 2% of the total budget. She also pointed out that the numbers presented in the budget reflects the long-term plans value-enhancing activities in strengthening and promoting women, empowering the Jewish family and the movement great contribution to the Israeli society.
