A wonderful experience was expecting the 40 boys from Emunah's five Children Centers that which celebrated together their Bar Mitzvah in a unique way.
The boys and their accompanists visited and prayed at the Western Wall, followed by a guided tour at the Ammunition Hill. The festive Seudat Mitzvah was at the presence of Israel's Chief Rabbi, Rishon Lezion, Shlomo-Moshe Amar, who congratulated the boys, and emphasized the wonderful education they received which helped them become more familiar with the Jewish heritage and aware of the beauty of the Torah, its laws and commandments.

The event was held thanks to the courtesy of the French Foundation Lev Layeled, its chairman Rabbi David Ben-Elbaz and his Deputy Mrs. Sarah Weiss, which accompanied the children during the day and didn't spare any treats or gifts from them. The foundation assists students and teenagers who spend their time in foster families and homes.
This special day was planned and executed by Miriam Zeevi, Head of Emunah's Institutions Committee, and with the courteous assistance of Tehilla Messinger from Bet Elazarki in Netanya - as well as other Children Center's managers, counselors and volunteers.

Emunah's chairperson, Liora Minka, and CEO David Hadari, along with sermons given by the representatives of the boys, expressed their appreciation to all of the people that worked so hard to give them a proper and warm home, childhood and fine education.
Rabbi David Ben-Elbaz and his Deputy Mrs. Sarah Weiss, who were very excited at the ceremony, didn't leave empty-handed. They received special souvenirs made by the boys. The celebration continued with dancing and singing accompanied by a professional orchestra.
