…Emunah of America hosted the Mt. Kisco/ Parshat Chayei Sarah Mission headed by Rabbi Aaron Goldsheider. The members of the mission were eager to visit Emunah’s Children's’ Center in Afula to be reunited with the members of the Emmunotes choir who had spent Shabbat in their community while touring the US last year. The group were delighted by the singing and dancing of the choir and were heartened to spend time with the children.
…Emunah of America was happy to welcome Rebbetzin Chana Reichman and the East Hill Synagogue Mother/ Daughter Chesed Mission. The week was filled with memorable acts of kindness .The Bat Mitzvah girls got to spend a lot of time with other Bat Mitzvah girls from Bet Elazraki The highlight of the week was the visit to Bet Elazraki where the girls and their new found friends each planted a tree, enjoyed a chocolate workshop, baked Challah, ate dinner and sang and danced An emotional Elizabeth and Alexandra Katz dedicated a recreational room for the older girls of Bet Elazraki in memory of their niece/ cousin, Danielle Hymowitz, z"l.
Rebbetzin Reichman and the women on this mission are great friends and supporters of Emunah and we were thrilled to be part of their Mother/ Daughter - Bat mitzvah experience.
