David Hadari, the CEO of Emunah, was interviewed on the "Yoman Moreshet" radio program by Yedidya Tenami on August 18 2008.
Emunah has announced that for the first time, it will be awarding a full, one year academic scholarship in the field of education to second year National Service volunteers.
Liora Minka, the Chairperson of Emunah, has stressed that the scholarship is available to those girls who do not have the funds to pay for college. The benefits to instituting such a scholarship are three-fold:
1. Israeli society is enriched by the girls committing to two full years of National Service volunteer work, instead of to the one year option.
2. The girls' second year of National Service must be served in an Emunah Day Care Center. The young women get practical experience interning while Emunah gets motivated manpower.
3. By encouraging young, innovative Torah observant professional women to enter the field of early childhood education, Emunah is investing in high quality, future educators and administrators for the Emunah Day Care system
