On September 2nd Simone Wenig of Melbourne, Australia, together with two of her children Ari and Michelle visited the Emunah Neve Michael children’s villiage in Pardes Hana.
Ari Wenig recently celebrated his Bar Mitzvah and asked for donations to be made out to the home in lieu of gifts. The donations in his name were earmarked for a new music program for the children at the home. Ari is himself an accomplished pianist and singer and wanted to play for the children in person. Thus, after an emotional tour with Hava Levene, made all the more so by observing the arrival of a new child to the home, Ari settled down at the piano in the dining hall and started to play. The children enjoyed his performance and, as the piano is now tuned, will hopefully be able to soon start music lessons of their own.
A big Mazal Tov to Simone and Jonathan Wenig, Ari, Michelle and Tali, and we look forward to celebrating many more smachot with you in the future.
